FREE ROAD MAP WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE

The really good news is, according to Amazon.com, if I buy Barbara’s DVD (a production of ABC News) and the three-disc edition of The Maltese Falcon at the same time, I can save almost $10 off my total purchase!

Is this some kind of remake of the Diane Keaton film?

I think Barbara Walters should call on a whole bunch of former guests of her interview show, to ask THEM what they think about heaven--like Bo Derek, Sally Field, etc.

And you know, Dennis: ten bucks is ten bucks. ;)

Brian: I remember being kind of iffy on the Keaton movie when it came out, although I think I saw it twice, which speaks to the inherent fascination of the subject matter, even when the director seemed too often of kooking it all up with wacky camera angles and such.

As far as I know, this is some routine gathering of stories based around a theme and done under the banner of ABC News-- which is what I found funny and absurd about it all. And those questions-- "Where is it? How do we get there?" Here's one of my own-- Where's David Byrne when you need him?

Blaaagh: If it were done like a Barbara Walters Oscar Night Special, that would be funny:

BW: Charlize Theron, what color do you think of when you think of heaven?

Beege: You're right. A bargain is a bargain. And I bet I could make close to another $10 by selling the Barbara DVD at a used record store! :)

I actually looked at Amazon.com to see whether it was true that they're offering this thing and The Maltese Falcon as a package deal...insanely enough, it is true. I wonder how they came up with that?
