I'd for a duo of a revisionist western, The Great Northfield Raid with Robert Duvall and Cliff Robertson, and a modern day western, of a sort, called The Border with Jack Nicholson. They're both fairly obscure but excellent. Here's a piece from my own blog about The Good, the Bad and the Ugly that might interest you.Cary Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17696172496012966959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8795280.post-24820507303040634762012-07-07T18:44:14.400-07:002012-07-07T18:44:14.400-07:00Great post, Dennis. Time is at such a premium for me these days, and getting older isn't likely to reverse that trend, so I find that it's better to devote what little of it I seem to have to things I really want to write, as opposed to just looking for ways to fill up space, the way I sometimes used to. That means far fewer posts now than I registered three or four years ago, of course, but maybe also an uptick (theoretically, anyway) in the passion I have for what gets posted.

Whether it does or doesn't, I really value your thoughts and your encouragement, as always.Dennis Cozzaliohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954848938471883431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8795280.post-45979277878873522402012-07-06T17:58:48.589-07:002012-07-06T17:58:48.589-07:00Now, that's a post like the old days, Dennis. ...Now, that's a post like the old days, Dennis.
