I kind of expected both to be of historical value only ("oh, Cary Grant's first film, guess I should watch that...oh, Clara Bow's last film, guess I should watch that") but thoroughly enjoyed both. I'm also a sucker for '30s films. I noticed TCM programmed <i>This is the Night</i> on the channel last week; hopefully they can play <i>Hoop-la</i> too.
